Position: Residential Aide

Program: Connection House

Location: Middletown

Salary: $20/hourly

Schedule: Full time, 40 hours, 2nd shift, Tuesday-Saturday (3-11pm)

 

Program Summary:

Connection House is a residential work release program that provides supervision and case management services to adult men who are re-entering the community after a period of incarceration.

 

Position Summary:

The Residential Aide will utilize a strengths-based & client-centered approach, providing structure and supervision to justice involved Men/Women as they re-enter the community after a period of incarceration. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals in recovery and/or those who are justice involved or have a customer service background and be highly motivated to help others make positive change. An ability to be both structured and compassionate while maintaining professional and respectful boundaries is required.

 

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 2+ years relevant experience as a Residential Aide or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License 
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required

Orientation: 

If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a three (3) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
